We treated Mr. Wigz like what it actually is when you walk in: a warm little coastal gallery that happens to sell glass. Why this house exists.

I hired a web developer for my own business and learned, firsthand, how vulnerable a company becomes when its digital presence is controlled by someone who does not treat it with urgency. For months, deadlines moved, communication failed, and the site that was supposed to represent my company sat inside infrastructure I did not own. The problem was no longer just design. It was control.

A serious business should never be trapped inside someone else’s process.

So I learned to build the work myself. Custom code. Clean structure. Search-ready architecture. No templates. No drag-and-drop dependency. Core strategy, direction, design, and build stay in-house — and when specialized support is ever needed, it is disclosed plainly, never blurred behind layers.

I built this studio around the standards I wish had been present from the beginning: ownership, accountability, design intelligence, and direct access to the person responsible for the work.
